Coconut Everything!

  • Coconut is in most aip recipes and is a great substitute for many “typical” ingredients.
  • Coconut milk is the base for many recipes and can be an equal substitute for recipes that call for milk. Coconut milk can be used to make many favorites such as ranch, whipped cream, and mayo. My favorite is Aroy-D from Amazon which comes in 1 cup portioned boxes. It’s 100% pure and no BPA!
  • Coconut Oil has a very high smoking point, which makes it great for sauteeing. I also frequently substitute coconut oil 1:1 in recipes that call for butter. On occasion, I also use coconut oil for stove top frying. This is available at almost any store nowadays and costs between $5.99 and $7.99 on average.
